- Project Description:
I am looking for people who love Algebra and are willing to connect with 8th graders in my class. Volunteers will support students, build their confidence, help with their class work and homework, question them, push them. Work can happen after school during my Math Tutoring time on Tuesdays 3-4pm or can happen during my Support Class from 1-2pm on M,T, Th, F. This starts as soon as possible!
It could be working on operations with integers for students who have not mastered that yet... it could range to deriving the quadratic formula with students when we get there. The entire scope and sequence of Algebra I would be the content with which we would be working.
