- Project Description:
Our science fair just keeps growing!
This year we have two levels of competition for our fair. Our Round One Fair is a virtual fair, where students submit their projects online. These projects need to be reviewed and narrowed down to the top 100 projects (we expect around 400 entries). The Round One Fair evaluations need to be done sometime between Jan 20 and Jan 26, 2012.
The winners of Round One will be invited to the In Person Science Fair, held on Tuesday, February 7, 2012. I expect that judges who come to the Feb 7 event will each look at around 7-10 projects and would need to be there for about 1.5 hours. I will need judges for both elementary and secondary projects.
We will need plenty of judges with science/math/engineering experience. We also could use volunteers (who don't need a science background) to help check students in, monitor hallways and keep things running smoothly. Look over the sessions and see if one of them might fit into your schedule. We provide snacks and lunch for our judges!
Virtual Fair: Contact Stephanie and I'll email you projects that need to be judged sometime between Jan 20-Jan 26
