I am developing four learning modules for my 8th grade students: electricity, light, waves and sound. I will then let each student choose one of the four modules to explore in depth. They will be provided with powerpoints/websites in order to explore and learn material as well as specific learning goals. They will then be provided with expectations for developing a lab based on their topic. They will be able to choose whatever area they would like to specifically look at within their module and then create an experiment based on their newly acquired knowledge in this area. Both the students and myself are very excited and are looking forward to this project. I would like to begin these modules in mid-April and then they will close at the end of school (mid-May). I am seeking experts that my students can talk with regarding these four areas of physics and I am looking for suggestions of possible resources to use for this project. Thank you for your help!
