- Project Description:
This past school year we launched a research science course at the Winchester Thurston School in Pittsburgh. We had 13 student groups who conducted independent research throughout the year in various areas of science. Some of these groups had the help of 'mentors' throughout the process. These mentors aided in finding background literature, experimental design and data analysis. Some went as far as meeting with the students and allowing them to work in their lab. We are searching for interested people who may want to serve as a mentor for next years class (2012-2013).
