- Project Description:
I would like to do a project with my chemistry class centering on alternative fuel technology. I would like for students to research both the science behind the production and use of a variety of fuels, as well as get experience actually producing biodiesel. I would love to get a partnership with the local biodiesel coop and/or involve my physics class in building a demonstration vehicle that runs on the biodiesel we make.
I am in need of individuals with expertise in any sort of alternative fuel to come and speak to, or work with, my classes as they research and synthesize a variety of alternative fuels.
