- Be A Mentor connects caring adults with children and youth who need a little extra help to succeed. Youth with positive adult role models in their lives go to school more often, act out less in class, and are less likely to engage in drugs, alcohol, and gangs. As productive adult citizens we have the opportunity to help mold a new generation.
