My experience has been with 5th graders in an afterschool setting. As a big proponent of the Maker movement we try to give the kids experiences in hands on robotics, programming, soldering, electronics, etc.

Using Scratch and Gamestar Mechanic we have created a base of programming skills in an inner city setting (Reading, PA).
