I am a professor in the department of Biological Sciences at the University of Cincinnati. I conduct research in the field of Ecology. In particular I study how and why populations, and ultimately species, persit or become extinct. In particular I study the effects of climate change and habitat fragementation. I am particularly interested in integrating quantitiative skills for students interested in Biology and Ecology, and getting students who are mathematically inclined interested in Biology and Ecology.

I am generally available during the academic year.
