National Lab Day is an opportunity for us to impress upon our students the importance of STEM education – science, technology, engineering, and math, and encourage students to explore, to learn more about the universe around them, and to develop a real interest in science, engineering, and nature. It is an opportunity for citizens, university faculty members to work with students in K-12 education and excite them – give them an opportunity to think about what the world is like and maybe pursue careers that involve technology and science.
